There aren't too many large 1080p LCD displays out there. There are even fewer plasmas greater then 46“ with 1080p. In order to pick the right display I decided to list all the LCD panels I could find that were at least 46” in size and had 1080p capability. That means the pixel count should be close to 1920 x 1080. Over the next week or so, I plan to look up the details on each of these units and put together a list of the features and benefits of each. Let me know if there are others out there that you are aware of. I'm considering but haven't quite decided whether to include a few units that have been announced but aren't currently advertised. One thing to note, some of these units might be advertised but still not available. For those, I'll try and list a date when they are supposed to hit the market.
O.K., let's get started.
